You still don't think the Z32 is good for drag racing. It's not a good drag racing car because it is VERY VERY difficult to launch. 90% of the drivers out there have no clue how to launch this beast at the strip. Yes, the suspension is all wrong or at least not suited for it. But IT CAN LAUNCH WELL! Like most cars, with the right tires and an experienced driver behind the wheel, it can pull 1.6 or 1.7 60' times. And after that it's all about banging gears. That's the story on the 5-speed. Yes, it's a GT car. But it's also a capable drag car, just not the best. Now for the auto tranny Z32's. It's a no brainer. You brake torque to the stall and hammer the gas. On a stage III TT, automatic high 12's/low 13's, EVERY TIME. Upgrade to a higher stall toque converter, easy low 12's, possilble high 11's. Yes, auto makes it a grocery getter. BUT AN AUTO Z32 TT IS AN AWESOME DRAG CAR!
